The Oakland Athletics have grabbed outfielder Seth Smith from the Colorado Rockies in exchange for two pitchers.
The Rockies received right-hander Guillermo Moscoso and lefty Josh Outman in the deal.
Smith had agreed to a one-year, $2.4 million deal with the Rockies to avoid arbitration on Monday.
