Bleacher Report:
The San Francisco Giants enter their final game of a three-game set against the hated Dodgers Tuesday.
Seven-and-a-half games back in the division, and a single game back in the wild card, this series was the Giants chance to make a decisive statement and solidify their push for a playoff berth.
However, things have not gone as planned, and the Giants are in danger of being swept.
Down 2-0 so far throughout the series, the Giants have shown their key weaknesses. Lack of run support, and giving up runs in spurts.
Battered and beaten, not only would a sweep statistically leave its mark on the young Giants, but it would also dent the mental push this team needs to finish off this spectacular season.
The Giants desperately need to salvage a win against the Dodgers. Dropping one game to the best team in the big leagues doesn't look so bad. Dropping three games in as many days, does.
So who will the Giants turn to?
The Franchise.
