A Healthy Dose Of Competition

Well if any of you are like me, then by now you are feeling this tingling feeling of anxiousness as you eagerly wait for the season to start. I think it is going to be a good season and as a fan of competition, I think this season will bring some serious matchups. Last season had some unexpected surprises that I think most of us enjoyed (Yanks not making the playoffs and Tampa reaching the series). My main thought for consideration though would have to be about team competition, not as one team against another but between players on the same team. Most people may disagree and say that it is not healthy for the chemistry of the team and those people may be right. However, it may be better for the team overall if everyone knows that they are replaceable and to not think to highly of themselves in such an important team sport.
