Alex Rodriguez says he'll likely need all 20 rehabilitation games allowed to work back into playing shape before returning to the Yankees. And he is confident he'll be back this season. The injured third baseman is set to begin a rehab assignment Tuesday night with the minor league Charleston RiverDogs. Rodriguez was working out at the Yankees spring training complex in Florida as he recovered from left hip surgery last January. He was cleared this week to start playing in games. Rodriguez is scheduled to play three innings at third base and said before batting practice that he plans to play in Wednesday night's game with Rome, too.

Report: MLB to Meet With Biogenesis Employee, Obtain ‘Smoking Gun’ Linking Alex Rodriguez, Ryan Braun to PED Sales

For weeks now, not much has happened with Major League Baseball’s Biogenesis investigation. Why The Albert Pujols Contract Is Already Worse Than The Alex Rodriguez Contract

It’s no secret that the Yankees took their place in ‘all time sports blunders’ history by signing Alex Rodriguez on for an additional ten years, at the hefty price of $275 million. But the contact the Angels offered Albert Pujols is proving to be even more of a disaster than the one bestowed upon Arod. The warning signs were there, the Angels simply chose to avoid them...

A-Rod Goes 0-2 In First Rehab Assignment

Alex Rodriguez made his first appearance in a baseball game this season with the Yankees Single-A affiliate in Charleston. A-Rod seems to already be in post-season form going 0-2 with a weak ground out to third and striking out looking. ESPN went big and broke into SportsCenter for a live look at A-Rod’s return.  It’s like no one remembers that the last time we saw Rodriguez...

Yankees ratings are heavily declining

The level of starpower that the New York Yankees are putting on the field this season is extremely low. There's no Derek Jeter, there's no Alex Rodriguez, Mark Teixeira, Curtis Granderson, and Kevin Youkilis have all only played a handful of games, and the Bronx Bombers are only four games above .500 and fourth in the AL East. That lack of production on the field has resulted...
