Burnett left the game in the third inning with what appeared to be an injury of some sort. He didn't look hurt, but Gene Monahan accompanied Joe Girardi to the mound and Burnett walked off the field with Monahan. More info as it comes out.Also, I forgot to mention this in the game thread, but Damaso Marte has been placed on the 15-day DL with inflammation in his left shoulder. He started to feel some discomfort before the Seattle series went for an MRI during last night’s game. He will head for a strengthening program and has been replaced on the roster by Boone Logan.
