Reports say that Alex Rodriguez and the MLB have been talking about a plea deal which will end with a 150 game suspension for Alex Rodriguez.  Rodriguez is under scrutiny for his role in the biogenesis scandal. There have been rumors going around that Rodriguez may get a lifetime ban from baseball.  Which would not only end his playing career, but it also wouldn’t allow him ever to coach in the MLB. If the plea deal suspends Rodriguez for 150 games, what was going to be the deal without plea?  One has to think that it was the lifetime ban.  The most notable player to ever get a lifetime ban in baseball is Pete Rose, which is still highly argued to this day.  One could make the argument that if Rodriguez gets the 150 game suspension, it could end his career as a player.  He is already 37 years old and is coming off of hip surgery.
