A-Rod fulltime DH. Chavez, Nunez, Pena hold down 3rd. If Nunez can play SS/2nd. which he has, he can eventually be adequate @ 3rd. Doesn't need 2 b another Clete Boyer or Craig Nettles, & his bat is a plus. Chavez Gold-Glove caliber, & Pena has leather deluxe. Yes, Chavez health always a question, but, showed last year he's productive again. The "strain" removed by making Alex full-time DH is tremendous/acknowledged by anyone who played @ a high level. Not spectators who make noise, but never played past high-school. The insight of college and/or MLB minors, & of course, "The Show," actual experience is different & invaluable. No disrespect intended - it's just a true understanding of what it takes to perform @ the highest levels. I think Alex wants to be in the infield on most days, but, his value to the team must displace his ego. Girardi & Cashman have to flex some muscle, because A-Rod's contract does not guarantee time @ 3rd., only games played & AB's.
