The Rangers and A's are underway in Oakland, though you'd never know it by the crowd. Very quiet, like they're at an art gallery instead of a ballpark. No score in bottom of second. Rangers' Dustin Nippert worked out of a little jam in the bottom of the first. Omar Vizquel, who had been playing in place of Kinsler, gets a night off and so we've got Joaquin Arias starting at second (and leading off), which makes for one of the younger double-play combinations you'll see in Andrus and Arias. Hamilton is batting seventh. Sure would be nice to see him regain his stroke with a three-game series coming up against the Angels after these four against Oakland.
