Alomar, who is the favorite to be named the Indians' manager for 2013. The Indians, who fired manager Manny Acta on Thursday, intend to conduct a thorough managerial search
after the season. That search has already begun. General manager Chris Antonetti said the club has begun
putting together a list of potential candidates. Antonetti has called Alomar "a primary" candidate, and Friday Antonetti revealed the name of another
candidate. That would be former Red Sox manager Terry Francona. Antonetti said he has talked with Francona
