Wednesday night was an ugly, ugly game for more than one reason. Not only did the Chicago Cubs forget to show up once again, a so-called 'fan' tossed a cup full of beer onto the field in the bottom of the fifth inning that hit Shane Victorino. No matter how bad your favorite team is playing that does not give anyone the right to throw object onto the field, much less at a player. What that 'fan' did on Wednesday was a classless act and will hopefully be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The phrase the CCO coined, as well as the motto of the site, Stay Classy Cubs Fans came to mind as the scene was unfolding.
