In the day and age of free agency and huge, mostly undeserving contracts, someone finally stepped up and acted like a team guy. Andruw Jones of the Atlanta Braves (if you didnt know that get off yardbarker), seems to be passing on the blockbuster offers to stay with the organization that has been so good to him. If you read any of my postings, you know I am all about getting your money, but even more so I am about being true to teammates and fans. It seems Jones is doing so. If he does stay it will be a testiment to his character. After last season, with the Braves finally not winning the NL East, Jones could have bolted. But, even with the dreaded Scott Boras as his agent, Jones is trying to make it work in the ATL. If they offer a good contract take it Andruw, and show the other stars it is okay to stay with a team that you love, even with more money somewhere else.
