Cincy did something on Monday night that they had done just one other time in the past ten months, and that's win a game played on the first day of the week. The Reds took advantage of another great start by Bronson Arroyo (2-1) in upending the host Brewers (12-17) by a tally of 6-1. Dusty Baker's bunch was previously 1-10 in their past 11 games played on Monday (dating back to June of 2011). However, the outcome this time around was much more favorable.
Milwaukee starting pitcher Marco Estrada was victimized for five runs in the top of the fourth and took the loss, but other than that pitched rather well in a losing effort.
It's the sixth victory for the Redlegs in their past eight games and pushes their record on the current road trip to 4-2.
