Houston Astros veteran outfielder Carlos Lee is mulling retirement after his contract expires next season.
Lee will be in the final year of his six-season, $100 million deal.
"I want to spend more time with my kids," the 36-year-old Lee said on Wednesday. "This business, it's kind of tough to spend more time with the family."
To be fair, Lee uttered a familiar refrain last year as well. He finished the season with a .275 average with 18 homers and 94 RBIs.
