The Houston Astros signed outfielder Travis Buck to a minor league contract Wednesday. Buck appeared in 50 games with the Cleveland Indians this past season, batting .228 with two home runs and 18 RBIs. The 27-year-old Buck has a .246 career batting average with 20 home runs and 89 RBIs in 220 career games over parts of five seasons.
