Attention White Sox GM….Trading Deadline Looming!

White Sox Mascot...Southpaw As you know, the non-waiver trade deadline is July 31.  Although I’ve been on vacation, they do have WGN in the mountains of Colorado.  So far, I’ve not heard a peep out of Kenny Williams.  Either he’s  keeping us in suspense until the last minute or…he’s got nothing. Any fan (yours truly included) that wishes for a magic puff of Chicago wind to drive Jake Peavy and/or Adam Dunn out of town are withering from the heat wave, mentally speaking.  However, Peavy must take a permanent leave after this season, whether his body holds up or not.  His sweaty outing against the Kansas City Royals, losing the lead on July 19, was mediocre at best.  With Adam Dunn, perhaps Triple-A  (such as Dayan Viciedo, whose current average is .311 with Charlotte) could show him a swing or two.  Ramon Castro may be out for the season with a fractured hand, so Tyler Flowers (yes, him again) needs to take up the slack (fingers crossed).  John Danks (again, fingers crossed) re...
