LA Angels Insider:
If you haven't heard or read through tabloid websites, Howie Kendrick has been in a recent feud with a family in his neighborhood. Well, I don't think Howie cares but this family is going on an all out blitz trying to sully the name of HK47. Why is there a big ordeal you ask? It has to do with asking for an autograph at a perfectly rational time such as at Howie Kendrick's personal residence WHILE packing for a move. Yeah, at his house.

The Angels are looking for a new GM after firing Tony Reagins. Could they be interested in ex-Mets GM Omar Minaya?
According to a Major League source of Andy Martino of the New York Daily News, former Mets GM Omar Minaya will interview to be the Los Angeles Angels’ GM.
Omar Minaya was the Mets’ GM from 2005-2010 and was an Assistant GM of the team beforehand. Also, he was the GM of the Expos prior to working for the Mets.

NBC Sports' Hardball Talk passes along a report from the Sports Blog Nation DRays Bay that Arte Moreno, Angels team president John Carpino, and Rays GM Andrew Friedman were seen having dinner in a St. Petersburg restaurant.
If that happens, it would be the third GM ganked this year from that chair and into another one, as Bleed Cubbie Blue reports Jed Hoyer will leave the Padres...

We checked with a couple of sources, and the feeling was that...

With the Rangers looking like the cream of the crop in the AL West, and the Angels not making the postseason two years in a row...

The Angels are openly interviewing several candidates for the position vacated by Tony Reagins, who resigned at the end of...
Angels ace Jered Weaver and slugging first baseman Mark Trumbo are among the finalists for the 2011 Players Choice Awards. The winners will be announced exclusively on MLB Network on Thursday, Nov. 3.
On Friday morning we posted this quote from Mark Hale of the NY Post:
Former Mets GM Omar Minaya interviewed for the Angels opening yesterday. Minaya served as the Mets general manager from 2005-10, overseeing the team’s NL East title in 2006 and its near-misses in 2007 and 2008. The Mets went 70-92 in 2009 before going 79-83 in 2010, after which Minaya was replaced by Sandy...
Andrew Friedman, the Rays' executive VP of baseball operations, recently dined with Angels owner Arte Moreno and team president John Carpino, according to Jason Collette of DRaysBay.
