Heaney solid in outing for Suns Andrew Heaney pitched 6 2/3 innings striking out four to earn his second win for Jacksonville in their 4-1 win over host Pensacola on Monday evening. Heaney, the Marlins first-round pick in 2012, allowed six hits and one run to run his record to 2-1 since being called up from Jupiter. Offensively, Daniel Pertusati did all the damage for Jacksonville (63-53) going two-for-four with a triple, homer and four RBI. In Las Vegas, Brian Flynn returned to the bump and pitched five innings to earn the win over Las Vegas in a 12-9 final. Alex Burg had a double, homer and four RBI, while Bryan Petersen added a double, Kyle Jensen chipped in with two doubles and an RBI and Jordan Brown contributed a double and two RBI. New Orleans improved to 61-62 with the win. Jupiter got five solid innings from Angel Sanchez to defeat first-place Fort Myers 3-2. Ryan Fisher paced the offense going two-for-three with two RBI and Casey Kotchman, who was making a rehabilitation start, added a pair of hits. James Nygren picked up the win in relief to run his record to 7-3. Lastly, the Marlins Gulf Coast League team completed the sweep of all Baby Marlins teams winning on Monday as they defeated the Mets 2-1. Jake Smolinski, who was making a rehab appearance, went two-for-three with a walk, while Ron Miller added a home run. Jorgan Cavanerio pitched seven strong innings to run his record to 4-1.
