Bartolo Colon took a liner to the face while pitching Sunday and, well, there's really nothing more to say about this than...ouch.Thankfully, he was able to walk himself off the field to the rousing combination of cheers and zuzuvelas.Colon is currently pitching in the Dominican Republic after having his 2012 campaign cut short following a failed drug test while with the Oakland Athletics.There's no indication whether or not the 2005 American League Cy Young award winner, who turns 40 in May, will be attempting any sort of comeback in 2013.  For his career, he is 171-122 with a 4.05 ERA.

Bartolo Colon, who was suspended by Major League Baseball in August because of a failed drug test, had himself a little scare over the weekend in the Dominican Republic. The hefty hurler took a line drive off his mouth on Sunday night, and was taken to the hospital for further tests. Colon walked off the field under his own power, holding a towel to his mouth, as seen in the video below.
