After totaling 31 hits and 21 runs during their doubleheader sweep of the Cleveland Indians on Tuesday, it seems as if the Texas Rangers' bats still are sizzling.
It's only the first inning, and Marlon Byrd has blasted a three-run bomb and Pudge Rodriguez added a two-run shot off Indians starter Fausto Carmona, who was taken out after throwing 41 pitches in just 2/3 of an inning.
So the Rangers have batted around, getting six hits en route to a 5-0 lead.
Not a bad way to start the day ...
