Wags goes down with injury.

Atlanta Braves’ closer, Billy Wagner, left tonight’s game against the San Francisco Giants with an injury to his side.  He threw a pitch and grabbed his side and threw out Angel Torres at first base just in time.  After the throw, he fell onto his knees holding his left side right around his waist.  No word as of right now what the injury may be.

This would definitely be a terrible way for Wagner to go out.  He has announced his retirement early this season.  This would not be the way he would want to go out.  Hopefully this is not serious.

More information to follow as soon as it is available.
