As the Toronto Blue Jays look to contend for an American League East crown and a possible trip to the World Series, getting players back healthy this season will be important.  Two players who battled injuries last year, Ricky Romero and J.A. Happ, are entering the spring in much better shape than they finished the 2012 season. According to Gregor Chisholm of MLB.com, Romero has said his elbow feels 100 times better than it did last season.  He suffered through the elbow injury and other injuries in 2012 while having a disappointing season, so he is naturally looking forward to 2013. "It feels 100 times better," said Romero, who avoided the DL in 2012. "I wasn't able to rotate [the elbow] at one point, I was so sore at the end of the year. That's when I decided we should get it checked out. Right now, it feels great, pretty much back to how it should feel." Romero dealt with tendinitis in his knees early in the season last year.  He required injections to help alleviate the pain from that, then he started feeling elbow soreness.  He underwent arthroscopic surgery during the offseason to clean up scar tissue. As for Happ, Mark Zwollinski of the Toronto Star says the Blue Jays' starting pitcher is healed and ready to go after suffering a nasty fracture in his foot late last season.  Happ suffered the injury in September and had to undergo surgery to have screws placed in the foot.  Now, he feels like he is back to normal.  Happ had been rehabbing all offseason to prep for spring training.  He should be able to compete for a starting spot as he normally would.
