The Toronto Blue Jays signed second baseman Kelly Johnson, righthander Carlos Villanueva and outfielder Ben Francisco to one-year contracts on Tuesday.
Johnson's deal is for $6.375 million, Villanueva will earn $2.3 million and Francisco will receive $1.537 million.
Johnson, 29, posted a .270 average with three homers and nine RBIs during his time with Toronto last season. He was acquired from the Arizona Diamondbacks in August.
Villanueva, 28, recorded a 6-4 mark with a 4.04 ERA in 33 games with the Blue Jays last season.
Francisco, 30, batted .240 with six homers and 35 RBIs with the Philadelphia Phillies in 2011.
