The Blue Jays have signed left-hander Aaron Laffey to a split contract, MLBTR's Tim Dierkes has learned.
The Toronto Blue Jays signed lefthander Aaron Laffey on Saturday.The 26-year-old Laffey spent last season with the Seattle Mariners and New York Yankees, logging a combined 3-2 record and 3.88 ERA in 47 relief appearances.
He was a starter for most of his first three seasons with the Cleveland Indians before he was moved to the bullpen in 2010.
