Blue Jays Watch: Fred Lewis Leading the Charge!

  If you’re like me, you are shocked at the incredible start the Blue Jays have had during this 2010 campaign. Not only are the Jays a winning team, they are winning in exciting fashion – by regularly launching balls out of every park they visit! Despite a recent pair of 9th inning loses to the first place Rays, the bluebirds find themselves only 5.5 games out of first in the AL East and 3 games out of the AL’s top wild card spot. For some, that may seem like a Grand Canyon size gap, but considering the Jays were pegged to be one of the worst teams in baseball – being anywhere near the Rays, Yankees and Red Sox is an unlikely and exciting position to be in.
