The Oakland A's have begun the process of reshaping their roster for a rebuilding period that they anticipate to last until at least 2014. Oakland traded top right-handed starter Trevor Cahill and valuable left-hander reliever Craig Breslow on Friday to the Arizona Diamondbacks for top pitching prospect Jarrod Parker, outfield prospect Collin Cowgill and relief prospect Ryan Cook.
