It's not how you start. It's how you finish. Ask Tim Wakefield. Wakefield, known for his lack of patience to start innings, gave up three early runs in the second inning. But, Boston knew that Dontrelle Willis would eventually crack. He did just that. Willis imploded in the third hitting Jacoby Ellsbury, walking four batters and giving up six runs. Jason Bay highlighted the big inning with a bases loaded two-RBI double to put Boston ahead for good. Jonathan Papelbon picked up his 14th save of the season. Star of the Game - Wakefield He continues to excel for Boston and remains the best starting pitcher on the staff. Beckett isn't far behind however. Next Game - 6/05 vs. Texas Rangers - Kevin Millwood/Brad Penny Penny looks to keep it rolling against a potent Rangers offense.
