The Atlanta Braves continue to get healthy as they activated catcher Gerald Laird off the disabled list and optioned outfielder Todd Cunningham to Triple-A Gwinnett.  Laird will be in uniform and available to play against the Marlins Sunday. Laird went on the disabled list August 3, retroactive to July 26 with a kidney stone ailment. Laird has been a solid contributor for the Braves this season.  In 28 games he is hitting .293, with a .384 on-base-percentage and .400 slugging percentage.  In addition, he has caught the major of Julio Teheran‘s games and has helped the young pitcher develop.  The 33-yard old veteran backstop has thrown out 6 of 17 runners attempting to steal this season. In two rehab appearances at Gwinnett, Laird went 0 for 6 and was behind the plate for 11 innings. Cunningham played in six games while with the Braves.  He accumulated two hits in six at bats, all in pinch hit roles.
