Mike Dunn: 2 IP, 5 H, ER, 3 K
Freddie Freeman: 1-4, 2 RBI
J.C. Boscan: 1-2, HR, 2 RBI, 2 BB

Takashi Saito made a rehab appearance for Gwinnett, allowing a single and getting a strikeout in a scoreless inning. Mike Dunn gave up his first run since May 23rd. Freddie Freeman and J.C. Boscan had four of the five RBIs for the Braves. Luis Bolivar had the other.

Mississippi 5, Carolina 4
Jacob Thompson: 6.2 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 6 K
Benino Pruneda: 1.1 IP, H, ER, 2 K
Alejandro Machado: 2-3, HR, 2 RBI
Antoan Richardson: 2-3, 3B

Jacob Thompson put together a solid start for the first time in a long time. Benino Pruneda and Thomas Palica each allowed a run in relief but the Braves held on. Aside from the top two in the order listed above, Willie Cabrera and Michael Daniel each had an RBI. Donell Linares and Randy Gress each recorded a double.

Myrtle Beach 5, Frederick 2
Randall Delgado: 7 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 4 K
Scott Proctor: 1 IP
Michael Jones: 1-3, 2B, 2 RBI
Matt Kennelly: 1-3, HR, RBI

Control was the only fault of Randall Delgado tonight and it's nowhere near enough to criticize him over. He gave up three singles and both runs scored on one of them. The runners reached base via a walk and hit by pitch. He walked another and hit another, but otherwise he was flawless. Every starter picked up a hit. Mycal Jones added a hit and walk.

Rome 1, Charleston 0
Caleb Brewer: 6 IP, 3 H, BB, 2 K
Jeffrey Lorick: 1 IP, K

Caleb Brewer had another great outing in his third start of the season and has now allowed one run in 16 innings. The control is still coming around and was much better tonight. The lone run came in the first inning when Kyle Rose singled and reached third on an error, and Jordan Kreke grounded out to bring him home. Christian Bethancourt singled in his only at bat. Cory Harrilchak walked twice and stole his 18th base.
