Chipper Jones may miss the rest of the world baseball classic and Braves management has no problem with that, the Braves now wish that Jones had never participated in the classic. Jones injured his oblique muscle while participating in a game against Venezuela. The Braves hope this is not a nagging injury that haunts Chipper throughout the season. If the Braves are going to attempt to dethrone the Phillies and reclaim the NL east title that they owned for so long, Chipper will have to be at the top of his game.
