ESPN is reporting that the New York Yankees have agreed in principal to a deal with coveted pitcher CC Sabathia. The deal will make Sabathia the league's richest pitcher as it is a six year deal worth $160 million, which is $20 million more than what was previously being reported.
This comes as a surprise as over the past month it began looking more and more likely that Sabathia wasn't going to accept the Yankees offer.
However, last night it was being reported that Brian Cashman was making a push to convince Sabathia's wife into moving their young children to the Big Apple.
