Milwaukee Brewers hurler Chris Narveson underwent surgery on his left hip Tuesday, according to team officials. The left-hander will visit Dr. William Raasch Wednesday for a follow-up examination before returning to his North Carolina home to continue therapy.
Narveson, who went 11-8 with a 4.45 ERA this season, is expected to be ready for spring training.
In other Brewers news, infielder Josh Wilson and pitcher Mark DiFelice have been outrighted to Triple-A Nashville. Pitcher Brandon Kintzler has been reinstated from the 15-day disabled list, and lefties Manny Parra and Mitch Stetter have been reinstated from the 60-day disabled list.
With the aforementioned transactions, Milwaukee's 40-man roster is at capacity.
Finally, infielder Edwin Maysonet has been re-signed to a minor-league contract with an invitation to the Brewers' major-league camp next spring.
