Found March 04, 2013 on MLB Injury News:
The Milwaukee Brewers are hoping to repeat their success of the second half of the 2012 season.  They are just hoping to do it throughout the entire 2013 season.  The Brewers surged in the second half last year and came close to making the playoffs as one of the National League Wild Cards.  They had an incredible offense last season and will look to score runs at a torrid pace again this year. Here's more on the Brewers and injuries so far in camp: Ryan Braun has a bruised knee, but the injury was a non-issue.  He was able to depart for the World Baseball Classic and does not expect the knee to hinder him in any way.  Adam McCalvy of MLB.com says the injury happened when Braun took a foul tip off the knee.   Aramis Ramirez will still have to miss a few days, but the MRI on his knee came back clean.  Ramirez injured himself when sliding into second base on Saturday and had to leave the game.  Fortunately, the injury is not severe says McCalvy.  Kelvim Escobar is battling a hand issue.  He couldn't quite finish his bullpen session yesterday and was taken back to be worked on by trainers.  While the club and Escobar didn't go into details, manager Ron Roenicke said he didn't have normal hand strength.   Follow @mlbinjurynews !function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://www.mlbinjurynews.com//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs"); var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-34100676-1']); _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']); (function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? Brewers’ Aramis Ramirez Out 7 to 10 Days with Sprained Knee

The Milwaukee Brewers can breathe a sigh of relief. Power-hitting third baseman Aramis Ramirez underwent an MRI on his sprained left knee on March 4, one day after leaving the Brewers’ Spring Training game against the Los Angeles Angels. The results released on March 5 showed no structural damage. Ramirez will sit out for seven to ten days – and possibly two full weeks...

Brewers' Aramis Ramirez strains knee

The Milwaukee Brewers can't afford any more knee injuries.  They already have Corey Hart sidelined for a good chunk of time and Mat Gamel out for the season.  Now, Aramis Ramirez has a knee injury of his own.  The veteran third baseman had to leave yesterday's game in the third inning after injuring his knee. Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel says...

A day after suffering a couple of injury scares to key players, the Milwaukee Brewers got good news on third baseman Aramis Ramirez and right-hander Yovani Gallardo on Sunday. Brewers manager Ron Roenicke told reporters following Sunday's spring training victory over the Cubs that the MRI taken on Ramirez's injured knee came back negative for any structural damage. Roenicke...

Dugout Digest - happy Brewers day!

Rollling along with the NL Central, today is Brewers day on TOC. Despite losing Prince Fielder last  year, and putting together a dreadful bullpen, Milwaukee still won 83 games, thanks in large part to fantastic offensive seasons from Ryan Braun, Carlos Gomez, and Aramis Ramirez. It may be more of the same for the Brewers this year, and the 83 wins they posted a year ago might be...

Fantasy Tiers Of A Clown: Third base

Here are my five fantasy tiers for third basemen heading into exhibition play, with a nod toward 5x5 roto leagues. To be honest, one could make a strong case for Ryan Zimmerman, Aramis Ramirez, Evan Longoria, Hanley Ramirez and especially Chase Headley earning a spot in the first tier; but after much reflection, I can only guarantee that Miguel Cabrera, David Wright and Adrian Beltre...
