Milwaukee Brewers second baseman Rickie Weeks could return to the starting lineup as early as Sunday, manager Ron Roenicke said prior to Saturday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies. Weeks participated in a simulated game on Saturday as he works his way back from a severely sprained left ankle. He suffered the injury while running the bases on July 27. Roenicke detailed that should Weeks play, he would only compete in a few innings before being taken out of the game for precautionary reasons. Weeks is batting .272 with 19 homers and 43 RBIs this season.
