According to the team, Kottaras will join the clubin Chicago for Wednesday night's game with the Cubs.Kottaras, who started the season with the Brewers due toJonathan Lucroy's absence, has been swinging a hot bat with the Sounds sincehis April 21 demotion. In 29 games, the left-handed hitter was batting .343with 21 RBI and four home runs.Appearing in nine games for the Brewers early in the season,Kottaras totaled nine hits and four RBIs. He will likely take over the role asstarting pitcher Randy Wolf's catcher, a job he did last season and one Nieveshad held most of this season.In 20 games this season, Nieves had batted just .140 with noRBIs and just two extra-base hits. He also had more at-bats without an RBI thanany other player in the league.
