Clay Buchholz took to the airwaves on WEEI today and talked about all the drama surrounding the Sox and their collapse. He was on the air for a little over a half an hour and answered a range of questions. Luckily there was no real controversy or bomb shell in what Clay had to say. Clay said that he did participate on occasion in the "rally beers" in the clubhouse with the other starting pitchers. He said he didn't see it as a big deal at the time, that it was a bad judgment call and that it wouldn't happen again. Clay categorically denied that anyone ever drank in the dugout. Clay made sure to defend and have the back of Beckett, Lester and Lackey. In particular, Clay made a point to really defend Beckett and said that he is someone that he looks up to.
