The Pirates announced three minor league deals today to grow their list of spring training non-roster invitees to 19. Reliever Brian Bass, catcher Luke Carlin, and OF Brian Myrow all agreed to terms.Bass, 28, is probably the only player of the three that we could see in Pittsburgh next season. Last year with Baltimore, he threw 86.1 innings while compiling a 4.90 ERA. He seems to have some control issues, however, as he struck out 54 batters, but walked 44. He has pitched two full seasons in the majors between Minnesota and Baltimore.Carlin, 29, is a switch-hitting catcher who will serve as Indianapolis' catcher. His minimal time in the majors has been dreadful as he owns a career .469 OPS in 112 AB. However, last year in AAA, he hit .321/.430/.481.Myrow, 33, was one of Indianapolis' best hitters last year where he hit .307/.419/.496 in 110 games. He also hit 15 homers for the Indians.
