Pitcher Mark Buehrle and right fielder Giancarlo Stanton posted impressive milestones Friday night in Miami's 2-1 win over the Philadelphia Phillies. Buehrle helped Miami snap a seven-game losing streak by tossed eight strong innings, which clinched a 12th straight season of at least 200 innings. Buehrle is the only active pitcher in baseball with 12 consecutive years of at least 10 wins (13), 30 starts (31) and 200 innings (202 2/3). The last pitcher to do that was Greg Maddux on his way to a 14-year streak from 1988-2001. "I've always said 200 innings and going deep in the game you're giving your team a chance to win," Buehrle said. Stanton returned to the starting lineup for the first time since Sept. 16 and connected off Cliff Lee for his 35th home run, the second-highest season total in Marlins history (Gary Sheffield, 42).
