I just conducted an Email interview with Mack from Macks Mets, with the recent rash of injuries it seems like the Mets have been taking a beating for the depth of their farm system. My personal stance, is that the Mets have way too many injuries to expect any team's farm system to be able to compensate for the losses. As anyone who reads this site knows, my solution would be to trade for a player who could help this team tread water until the injured return. I wouldn't be looking for an impact player, but more or less a band aid. I fully admit that I know very little about the minor league system, if the player isn't a top prospect with a lot of hype, then I probably know very little about them.
