The Nats Blog:
As NatsTown continues reeling after Washington Nationals C Wilson Ramos' kidnapping, fans have organized a 6 pm candlelight vigil tonight, November 11th, at the Centerfield Gate at Nationals Park.
Information about the event started pouring out on Twitter last night and has continued throughout the day. This is after the 24-year-old Nats backstop was kidnapped from his home in Venezuela by 4 armed men. Details about the situation are slow to emerge, though this morning several sources, including Nats Insider's Mark Zuckerman, are reporting that the investigation is advancing in the search for Ramos. Arial searches are reportedly part of this advancement.
The Nats Blog would like to encourage anyone that is available to attend this event to show solidarity with Ramos and his family during this distressing time. As Nationals Inquisition puts it, here's hoping that the vigil turns into a celebration of Ramos' safe return. We couldn't have said it better ourselves.
