The “Rally Squirrel” – a mascot for the St. Louis Cardinals' improbable run to the World Series last fall – has been immortalized in 14 karat white gold on the team’s new championship rings.The players received their rings Saturday afternoon, which include their name and number along with a squirrel running across home plate. The animal was adopted as the team’s mascot after a squirrel ran across home plate at Busch Stadium in Game 4 of last year's National League Division Series.Jostens designed the ring, which feature rubies, a 14 karat gold frame and 103 diamonds as well as the team’s clubhouse cheer “Happy Flight”.
