The Minnesota Twins are off to an awful start. The American League Central is flipped upside down with the Indians and Royals in first and second place and the Twins, White Sox and Tigers looking up at them. After getting pulled from yesterday's start after giving up 12 hits and six earned runs through 5 and 1/3 innings, Pavano grabbed some lumber and took BP against the bench. Maybe he was showing manager Ron Gardenhire that he belongs in the field between starts. The Twinkies have only two current regulars hitting above .226.
Carl needs a hug...and the Twins badly need the old Justin Morneau back.
