The New York Daily News posted this picture yesterday with an article speculating on whether the Red Sox would attempt to sign Sabathia if he pulled an A-Rod and opted out of his long term contract. Can't see it happening as I think the Sox owners aren't going to sign a high ticket free agent for a long time after the most recent ones have all underperformed in Boston. Hypothetically, Sabathia would be an awesome addition to the Sox staff, but no way New York would lose that bidding war if it ever happened.Would you like the Sox to sign Sabathia?

Should the Red Sox Go After CC Sabathia if He Opts Out of His Yankees Contract?

CC Sabathia is one of the game's best hurlers and he could be on the open market if he decides to opt out of his current contract with the Yankees. The Boston Red Sox had a tumultuous end to the 2011 MLB season, and their offseason has not improved the mood or feelings in Beantown as of yet.
