The string of bad luck following Aroldis Chapman has struck again.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that Chapman's hotel room was robbed on Tuesday night while the Reds' closer was at the team's game against the Pirates at PNC Park.
Police were dispatched to Chapman's room shortly after 10pm after guests at the hotel heard a woman screaming for help from inside Chapman's room. The woman has not been identified, but a news release stated that she was the "guest of a male who attended the Pirates baseball game and who was not present at the time of the incident. During this incident the male guest had various items taken and was later interviewed by detectives."
This incident follows two recent issues - Chapman was arrested after being pulled over for doing 93 MPH on a suspended license, and he is being sued for 18 million dollars by a man in Cuba who claims he was jailed and blames the Reds' closer for his imprisonment.
