ATLANTA -- One of the overarching stories to come out of the Atlanta Braves' luncheon celebrating Chipper Jones' career is that the former third baseman is, amidts all of his accomplishments, a terrible golfer. That's acceptable, though, for one of the greatest third baseman and switch hitters in the history of baseball. Hall of Famers flocked to the luncheon -- the most-populated one in Braves history -- to pay their respects to No. 10, from George Brett to Hank Aaron. It's difficult to overlook Jones' incredible career with so many stopping by to pay their respects. Aaron, widely considered one of the greatest players ever, even told Chipper that he "will be in Cooperstown when you are inducted into the Hall of Fame. That resonates. So, with the ceremony just hours away, the Chopcast team brings in Braves Radio Network reporter Kevin McAlpin to discuss Jones' luncheon and lasting legacy. Here are a few of the highlights: -- What were some of the best anecdotes from the luncheon? Any other notable quotes from the Hall of Fame cast? -- With the luncheon being a little more lighthearted, Cory McCartney's recent piece interviewing a collection of Braves legends made it clear how much respert the game's greats have for Jones. What quotes stood out the most? -- Is there a future Braves Hall of Famer in this present group of guys? Will we even know until 10 or 15 years from now? Who is closest -- McCann, Freeman, Heyward, etc.? -- What will the atmosphere in Turner Field be like for the ceremony? What does the actual series, a showdown between the Braves and Diamondbacks, have in store? SUBSCRIBE SOCIAL
