Tom Koehler’s Pitch For Relief
I live in New York and I experienced Hurricane Sandy albeit at a much lesser degree than many other people in the area. There is a lot of destruction in the Northeast and it will take a long time to rebuild. Every little bit helps and Marlins’ pitcher Tom Koehler is doing his part to help out. Marlins Agreement to Spend Revenue-Sharing Funds on Player Salaries Expired Just Before Mega-Trade
The Marlins and owner Jeffrey Loria were already on baseball’s hot seat, and the veritable fish tank’s water may soon get even hotter.
Back in 2009 and 2010 the Major League Baseball Players Association was very unhappy with the Marlins. In the days of revenue sharing among MLB teams, the Marlins, by all outward appearances, had continued to pocket that money rather than spend...
Jeffrey Loria Lies to Florida Taxpayers, Destroys Montreal Expos in Taiwanese Animation of Marlins’ Big Trade (Video)
The Miami Marlins’ blockbuster trade with the Toronto Blue Jays has been the cause of much outrage, and most of it has focused on Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria. Obviously, the next step of that outrage is to animate it.
The good folks over at Next Media Animations got right on that, as the Taiwanese animation of the deal certainly lives up to expectations. In it, Loria is shown destroying...

Your Morning Dump...where the Sox should call Miami for Stanton
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here... highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
If the Red Sox, who begin what they hope will be an accelerated rebuilding with deep pockets and a deep farm system, want to see what else the Marlins might sell, here's an easy hypothetical that is probably...

Reyes and Beuhrle are saying that the Marlins gave them verbal guarantees that they would...

Reports: Pierre gets one-year deal from Marlins
Here's a switch: An established player is joining the Miami Marlins rather than exiting the team. Free agent outfielder Juan Pierre agreed to a one-year, $1.6 million deal with the Marlins, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported. Multiple media outlets confirmed that the sides came to terms. The Marlins recently agreed to trade five high-profile, high-priced players, including...
Report: Marlins Agree To Deal With OF Juan Pierre
After dumping more than half of their players in a pathetic attempt to rebuild their sh***y team, the Miami Marlins have reportedly made an acquisition to make up for it. According to Sirius XM's Craig Mish, the Marlins have agreed to a contract with former Phillie Juan Pierre.
Pierre, 35, signed a minor-league deal with the Phillies last off season, but played in the big leagues...
