The Mets can't be passive as they have in the past two years with relievers, they must go out and find a closer, but where will they find one.......There's the big two in free agency in K-Rod and Brian Fuentes. I think if the reports are true the Mets have all but past on K-Rod, while Fuentes remains a distinct possibility. Kerry Woods and Trevor Hoffman are probably staying with their perspective teams. They could find a closer on the comeback trail from injuries or bad years such as Chad Cordero, Eric Gagne, Derrick Turnbow or Jason Isringhausen. The trade route really doesn't look that promising, the names so far are Putz, Gregg, Soria, Street or Sherrill. All of which there are going to be roadblocks except for Gregg and in my opinion he's a set-up guy at best....Finally the Mets could sign or trade for a guy who's unproven ( or little closer exp.)but has the potential to be a closer a Brandon Lyon, Juan Cruz, Will Ohman, Luis Ayala, Jeremy Affeldt or Juan Ri...
