Comings and goings....

I expect things to move quickly this off-season, in the first 15 days Omar will tie up anyone he plans to keep. If someone decides to play hard ball, like Ollie I expect him to move on rather quickly. Once free agency opens completely I expect any role positions to be filled as fast as possible. Omar has always operated this way, in fact trying to get 2B out of the way is how Castillo got his contract when Eckstein decided to play the field. But with so many pitching holes to fill I expect the positional players to be set by the end of November barring a trade for pitching.On the very first day to file for free agency the Mets re-signed Fernando Tatis. As long as he didn't out price himself Tatis was a no brainer and on a one year even if he flops it won't be costly. Tatis will be 34 y/o next year in 306 plate appearances he went .297/.369/.484.
