The Indians will send right-hander Corey Kluber to the mound to try and stop the bleeding for Cleveland’s starting pitchers against New York. Kluber will be added to the active roster following Carlos Carrasco’s meltdown last night which ended with Carrasco plunking Kevin Youkilis immediately after giving up a home run to Robinson Cano.
RHP COREY KLUBER will start (2013 debut) tonight vs the Yankees.A move will be made this afternoon regarding Kluber’s spot on the roster

Kluber makes his first start of the season for the Indians. He has made one major league start in his career, with five additional appearances.
The Indians will face RHP Ivan Nova who was roughed up in his first start against the Tigers.
The Indians will need to make a move to add Kluber to the active roster. Sending Carrasco down is an option, as is putting Carlos Santana on the 15 day DL if they feel his injury will take longer to heal than the initial report of 2 or 3 days.
