It's possible that Jack Cust of the Seattle Mariners could lose his job as the team's designated hitter soon, Geoff Baker of the Seattle Times speculates.

The team is expecting Franklin Gutierrez back soon, and since Cust is hitting .171 with a .511 OBPS and 0 home runs, the Mariner's patience is growing thin.
