Kurt made an excellent point in last night's wrapup - hate is a strong emotion, and a destructive one.  I have been accused, more than once, of being a Cub hater, which is just so wild to me...whenever I read it, my eyes start rolling, my head shakes uncontrollably, and I just sit and wonder where I went wrong, why I could be so horribly misconstrued? I have had occassion, a couple of occassions in my life, to truly Hate.  When you devote your life to something, a concept that was willfully and purposely misrepresented to you, when you have been lied to, for a purpose not in your best interests, then go ahead and hate.  And, while it is true I have been a fan my entire life, and in fact characterize myself in part as a Cub fan as if it was part of my DNA, I do not believe (at least this year) that Jim Hendry intended to mislead us about the Cubs.  I think he honestly believed he assembled a winner, here.  Go ahead, call him a bad GM.  Go ahead, ...
